New England Aquarium Pics!

The weekend after Fourth of July, I went into downtown Boston to go out for the day to see some of what it has to offer. It was on a Saturday, July 10, and it wasn't without a little bit of rain. My first stop after paying for parking was at the New England Aquarium that was at the shore. I had bought a Boston CityPass which allowed me to go to five places at a great price(and beat the long lines in some cases, too).

It was a good start to the day visiting the New England Aquarium which has been around since 1969. Checkout the pics I took of the place.....

Happy Birthday Levian!

It is July 26 in Malaysia, and that is the birthday of my friend Levian. Levian is the pretty blogger from Kuching, Malaysia that posts a lot of anime on her site.

I recall I met her online through another fellow Kuching blogger in Sharon Chong over a year ago. At that point, we both became friends with many of same bloggers especially in her country and in the Philippines.

I just talked to her on YM and she has been busy with her job amongst other things. But she still posts quite frequently considering that even though she hasn't visited blogs due to her schedule. Still, she always has something good to say and is another kind blogger to those who know her. I do like the anime postings and thought-provoking entries she has up all the time.

July 23 is the birthday of Elai, who writes at a blog called elai's haven.

She is one of the bloggers I met on Twitter through friends such as Mariuca, Lady Java, and Monica.

Elai is a busy mother and wife from the Philippines that still manages to find time to blog. And she deals with power outages a lot where she's at, too.

Elai is another kind Filipino blogger friend and is quite intelligent as evidenced in her writing. She can be found commenting here and on her friend's sites, too.

Happy Birthday Star!

It is still July 21 here in the USA, but that day has already passed in the Philippines where my friend Star is from. It was a birthday I just found out about when checking my Yahoo! status page of those I'm friends with.

Star is real close friend and co-worker of Lainy, who most everyone knows I'm good friends with. That's also how I came to meet Star through Lainy. Although that is not her real name, who wouldn't love having a name like Star to be called?

She is a real sweet blogger and friend as well as busy mother, too. When she does blog, it is usually about her personal life and about family and friends. She always speaks highly of family and friends she holds dear to her, too.

Happy Birthday DJ Tammy!

Today is the birthday of my beyond hot Filipino friend DJ Tammy. She is also known to me as the Calendar Blogger because when I first seen her blog, she had a pic up with her on a calendar. I'm still waiting to receive mine!

She is also another one of those bloggers that has repeatedly tried to sue me for humorous abuse, and I think it is obvious she has collected A LOT of money since she is not as active with blogging now. Or maybe that's because she was a BWE Disclosed cover girl though. LOL!

But seriously, she is a very busy career woman and single mom of one. She asked a few of her blogger friends last year to be Godfather and Godmother of her son. I was one of those she asked. She is also very outspoken and will not blink for a minute to speak her mind.

Though she is busy, she is still a friend to many of those in the blogging community.

Happy Birthday Kathy!

Today is the birthday of Kathy, who writes on a blog simply titled LIFE. She also has blogs called FIFI, and A MOM AND A WARRIOR.

Kathy is a very active blogger, and a stay-at-home to two girls and a husband. She currently lives in the United States, too. I don't know her as well as some of the other bloggers, but she is a kind person from the comments I've seen.

Though I haven't heard from her in a while, she had left comments on here before. She does balance her family and blogging quite well considering she does post often on her sites. Hopefully her birthday will be a great one!

NewBridge Bank Ballpark

On July 5, the day after Independence Day in the U.S., me and my good friend Paul went to a baseball game near where he lives in Greensboro, NC. Greensboro is near where I graduated high school, and it has been since the days when War Memorial Stadium was open since I witnessed their minor league team play. NewBridge Bank Ballpark is very nice, and going on a Monday afternoon was more convenient minus the very humid weather that day. We were eight rows behind home plate though.
