John F. Kennedy Library Pics!

Back on July 14 of this year, I visited the John F. Kennedy Library & Museum. It was during a time where it rained nearly the entire time I was there on that occasion, but this was an ideal place to go because of that.

JFK was our 35th U.S. President who served beginning in 1961 until his assassination on November 22, 1963. Kennedy was born in nearby Brookline, MA, and the library itself is located next to the University of Massachusetts. The Library & Museum was dedicated in 1979 by the Kennedy family and then -U.S. President Jimmy Carter.

This is one of the places you can visit after purchasing a Boston CityPass. No matter what your political standing is, this was a cool place to visit. What I liked the most was that they reenacted 1963 with how they setup the museum. So you'll see plenty from 1963 as it was back then.

Here are some of the pics I took that day:

Many thanks for the pics. Visiting a presidential library is something that I haven't done ... and obviously should.

If you are ever in Dallas, visit the museum at the Book Depository building.
