On September 21 of this year, I attended Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles. I was working in Newburyport, MA, and worked during the day which finally allowed me to see a Red Sox game. I worked nights much of the time and/or the Red Sox were on the road when I was in Boston.
The Red Sox got out to an early lead on the Orioles with a run in the second inning. After starter Clay Buchholz gave up a run in six innings pitched, the Orioles completely took over the game against the Red Sox bullpen. Baltimore scored nine runs in the last four innings to win 9-1 over Boston. Brad Bergeson got the win for the Orioles while Scott Atchison took the loss for Boston.
Overall, Fenway Park was everything I thought it would be. It opened in 1912 and has renovated many times with new features and due to age. The Green Monster(or as they say in Boston "Monsta") was great to see. This is a must-see if you go to Boston.
