Oklahoma City Zoo Pics!

Now continuing on with my Oklahoma City mini-vacation on Labor Day weekend, it's time look at the pics I took at the Oklahoma City Zoo.

The Oklahoma City Zoo was a place I visited every year as a kid living in Midwest City. It was always something for me and my other elementary schoolmates would look forward to every year on class field trips. Upon arriving, I immediately had thoughts of those times as a kid visiting this zoo. It was a place I planned on going to before arriving in OKC.

The OKC Zoo is consistently ranked as one of the top zoos in the USA. It is very reasonably priced, and you don't even pay for parking. A family of four can tour the zoo for only $22(two adults and two kids). Plus, they allow same day re-entry!

It is still growing with expansion of more animals including elephants from Asia.

The zoo has come along way since I visited there over 20 years ago as a kid. If you ever visit OKC, YOU have to visit this place.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my Kodak digital camera along. However, I never forget my Blackberry, and used it to take the following pics. Some are blurred, but I hope you enjoy anyway:

There's still more pics to come from my OKC mini-vacation as well as of other places such as Fenway Park in Boston!

@LJ- LOL @ "hahha.. sorry guys.. me first! chop!!!" Yes, you were FC1! Thanks.

@Monica- FC2! Are you serious? You've never been to a zoo? I wouldn't have guessed that. I've been to quite a few of them especially in the last two years.

@Foong- LOL! You still get an FC point for being one of the first three commenters. Yes, it was one of the highlights of the vacation going back to place I used to frequently visit as a kid. Yes, my trusty BB saved the day for me for sure! LOL!

Oh my, that is one big gator!
