Birthday Vacation Contest Giveaway!

As some of you know that have followed me on Twitter, I'm going to have a contest similar to what my good friend Mariuca did on her blog. She had her readers guess as to where she and her husband were vacationing, too. Plus, she had questions to answer along the way with those being the first to answer them correctly being determined as the winner(s).

Now, my vacation is going to be starting on Sunday, December 5. The night before on December 4 is when it ends.

Here are some of the rules:

1. You must have at least one verifiable blog, and doesn't matter which type of service you use. The reasoning is because part of the prizes include ad space on this site and possibly my WBE site, too. When commenting, please provide a link to your blog OR the blog which you want linked to.

2. You must have a verifiable Paypal account. All international participants must have one or they will not be eligible to win. I don't need to know the Paypal account info now, but DO NOT participate if you DO NOT have one. Failure to have one will result in the next person that meets all qualifications and answers all questions correctly taking prizes of the one who doesn't have a Paypal account.

3. Anyone from around the world can participate in the contest. The prize structure is different between those living in the U.S./Canada than those international participants.

4. The contest begins as soon as this is posted, and ends at the following times:

-December 4 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time and 8:59pm West Coast Time in USA

For anyone else that wants to play, you can use this World Clock site to match-up these time zones to know when the contest ends. This is done so that everyone around the world has the same exact amount of time to play along and answer the provided questions below.

5. Comments on this site will be moderated to prevent those from possible cheating and copying other participant's answers. All comments will be posted when the contest ends.

6. I reserve the right to refuse participants that attempt to leave abusive or inappropriate spamming comments for the contest. You will automatically be banned from winning if that occurs. NO EXCEPTIONS!

The following questions are an attempt to cater to those in the U.S. and outside the country. Also, my sports readers and international followers have some questions that give them a chance :

1. When is my birthday?
Clues:
-It falls between now and when I leave for vacation on December 5. Not what day of the week, but the month and number of day I was born on.
-My birthday is listed on FB for those that know me there. Also, you can find it in the 2009 archives in November or December. Also, I made reference to my birth date on the Basic Bloganomics Changes located in the November 2010 archives.

2. Which female model was born on the same exact day in history as me?
Clues:
-She's not from the America.
-She's the official spokesperson of China Airlines and for Longines(a Swiss company).
-She was born in Taiwan and is an occasional actress.

3. What U.S. state do I currently live in?
Clues:
-It is in the eastern USA.
-It has the Atlantic Ocean to the east of the state and Appalachian Mountains to the western part of the state.
-It is known as the Tarheel State.
-NASCAR and college basketball are very prominent in that state.

4. Which college team is my favorite in all of sports? Note: The name and nickname(not mascot) MUST be included in the answer.
Clues:
-The team is located in the same state that I attended elementary school at. The elementary school name is Country Estates Elementary school.
-In September, I watched them play the season opener on Labor Day weekend. You can check my 2010 September archives on here to find that out.

5. Which city am I vacationing to?
Clues:
-It's a city I've never been to before, so no need looking back on my entries for it.
-The city is located in the eastern USA in the Eastern time zone.
-It is also located in the southern USA in the Sunshine State.
-Many tourists from around the USA and world come there during the holiday season. It is especially child-friendly. However, there's more than enough to do for anyone there.
-An NBA team plays there, and they just opened up a new arena to play in this year. They've been a consistent playoff contender the last few years and the last player to be taken with the first overall pick out of high school is their star. And yes, I plan on seeing that team play while I'm there.

Those are the five questions. The first one to answer all five questions correctly and has met all the requirements listed above, will win the contest.

Here is the prize structure:

Grand prize winner(First to answer all questions correctly):
-Souvenirs from where I'm going or $50 cash. Obviously, I haven't bought souvenirs since the trip hasn't been taken yet. Those living inside the U.S. and/or Canada will receive souvenirs(or they can option to take cash via Paypal). International participants will receive cash.
-Ad space on this site's slider through the entire 2011 calendar year.
-2,000 EC credits for those using Entrecard. If not an Entrecard user, you'll receive ad space for a calendar year on my other site(s) for 2011.

Second place winner(the second person to get all questions answered correctly)
-Souvenir of their choice or $25 cash via Paypal. U.S. or Canada winner receives a souvenir(s) equal to monetary value of cash listed(or you can option for cash instead). International participants will receive cash.
-2,000 EC credits for those using Entrecard. If not an Entrecard User, you'll receive ad space for a calendar year on my other site(s) for 2011.

Third place winner(the third person to get all questions answered correctly):
-$10 cash. All third place winners receive cash regardless of where you're from.
-1,000 EC credits for those using Entrecard. If not an Entrecard user, you'll receive ad space for six months on my other site(s) for 2011.
