On July 2, I went to see the Winston-Salem Dash take on the Potomac Nationals at their new home at BB&T Ballpark that opened this year. The Dash fell behind in the game early on, but scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning to hold on for a 4-2 win. The Nationals were held to only three hits while Winston-Salem had 12 on the day.
Overall, I was impressed with the park considering it is a minor league one. A lot was put into it by the city, and the tickets are still reasonably priced. It was a good day to getaway after just arriving back home by plane the day before. Winston-Salem is in the same county I graduated high school at, and BB&T is who I bank with, too.
Nonetheless, here are some of the pics from their minor league park....
Tomorrow on here, I'll post pics from the nearby Greensboro Grasshoppers game I attended on July 5.
