Mountain View Pics

As some of you know, I was in Mountain View, California working. Because of working in a very busy location, I wasn't able to take as many pictures as I would like. Anyway, here's a couple of them for you.

This picture is on the bridge just before you get to Hwy 85 in Mountain View off the exit to go to Google. California has many views such as this, and not just the beaches.

This is one of the signs at Google Headquarters. For those that visit Mountain View(just outside San Jose), you can't miss the number of buildings Google has off their exit. They have very strict photography policies which is why I didn't get any while visiting inside the building. However, it is very high tech as you can imagine, and I can see why so many people work there. I heard they have slides for employees to go down to floors if they choose. Many employees take a shuttle bus from San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose to go to work at Google. So if you want to visit the facility, keep that in mind. Overall, you will be impressed with how advanced and high tech it is though.

Well, I'm typing this out as I'm waiting on my flight in San Jose to Phoenix before finally flying home to Charlotte. For those that have visited my blog during this time out in California, I thank you. I will be back on tomorrow to visit you back and throw some comments around while posting an entry or two. Thanks again everyone for the support!

It's In the Way Members View It

Since I've been very busy and short on time to post this week in California, I'm posting a previous entry, so here's another parody song I wrote on SN this in 2007. I've done many parody songs and will likely post them again, too. Enjoy.

BWE Congressional Hearing: Saturday Saved

Note: This is fictional, and none of this is to be taken seriously. It is about BWE(Blog Wrestling Entertainment) in which bloggers are written into storylines. This is kayfabe which means the entire entry is part of storylines with some facts to make it work. Some of the opinions expressed here are inside jokes amongst us as well. And yes, the locations and travel are NOT real.

BWE Congressional Hearing
Washington D.C.

Your regularly scheduled program will be pre-empted tonight to bring you this special presentation.

(Camera shows a reporter outside)
Reporter: We take you inside the Congressional Hearing as parties from BWE are about to enter shortly. At the last BWE Throwdown! event in Kuching, Malaysia, a group of well-known athletes had reported allegations to Congress about blog enhancement use as well as underage bloggers performing in the ring. Because of the allegations, Ken D. Long(KDL) stepped down as GM of BWE Throwdown! So that position is currently vacant. This is likely why we're here today.

(Camera shows Paul Huffaker entering the room)
Reporter: There's the current General Manager of Extreme Blog Wrestling or EBW, Paul Huffaker. He says the problem doesn't exist in EBW, but in BWE.

(Camera shows Afrank Angle entering the room)
Reporter: Afrank Angle, who is campaigning on becoming the new BWE General Manager for Throwdown!, comes in. He has said repeatedly that he has a plan to clean up the promotion. We'll see what he has to say later on.

(Camera shows Amiable Amy entering the room)
Reporter: I've been informed that Amy was asked to testify about the CEO today, and that's why she's here. However, I don't think what she has to say has anything to do with the allegations levied against BWE.

(Camera shows BWE CEO David Funk)
Reporter: Mr. D, as he's called by many bloggers, has been in court before. These allegations are nothing new to him, but this hearing could really damage the future of the growing promotion he started.

(Congressional members finish entering the room as does the media coverage)
(Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now entering the podium)
Pelosi: Everyone may be seated.
(Everyone is sitting down)
Pelosi: I want to thank everyone for joining us today. We are here to discuss allegations and the problems that exist in Blog Wrestling Entertainment(BWE). It has been over two years since the use of blog enhancement steroids have been brought up. Last year, there was evidence that underage bloggers performed in the promotion against federal regulations. And recently, I've learned that the CEO of BWE Promotions, David Funk or Mr. D, has been sued by two women. One of them is actually a performer in BWE, and the other one is here today, too. These allegations as well as internal struggles in the promotion is why we're here today. After following along, one of the members of BWE is petitioning to become General Manager of BWE Throwdown! The previous BWE GM stepped down after allegations as well as possible sanctioning in the promotion as well as having other business to attend to. As part of our attempt to bring these issues to light, the CEO, EBW General Manager Paul Huffaker, Afrank Angle, and Amiable Amy are here today to testify in front of Congress. Afrank Angle will be up first. Note that we cannot make a decision as to who will be the next BWE GM. But we will set up a voting system to help determine who will become the new GM of Throwdown! Afrank Angle, you may approach the podium with your speech....

(Afrank Angle approaches the podium with his speech in hand)
(Note: This speech was really written by Afrank Angle via email)
Afrank Angle: Congressional Committee Members,

I’m Afrank Angle – a voice of reason, a voice of integrity, a voice intellectual thought, a voice of standards.

Amidst allegations, there’s no question that the BWE needs a housecleaning. I’m seeking a BWE leadership post because I’m a voice honesty, a voice values, a voice of incorruptibility, a voice of ethics, a voice of the people.

Yes, we have steroid issues. First of all we need to stop embracing and promoting inflated prima donnas such as A-Rod and ManRam. I would give them the Country Joe West heave ho and keep them away from BWE events. If baseball can prevent Pete Rose from participating in any form, the BWE can hault participation of these ya-hoos, too. Once I gain a BWE leadership role, I can get this done because I am the voice of truth, a voice of veracity, a voice of principles, a voice of the people

Yes, we issues with leadership. I’m not a John Boehner, Bud Selig, Gary Bettman, Paul Huffaker, or other so-called leaders promoting their personal dogma and special interests. I’m a voice of goodness, a voice of rightness, a voice of the people. … a voice for the summit, the pinnacle, the zenith for what is best for the reasonable, the suppressed, the enlightened, thus for the good of all in the same light as BWE owner David Funk, who reaches out his goodness to the world.

Yes we have issues of special interests. Within the BWE Promotions are people who value themselves over the organization. Value themselves more than the fans. Value themselves more than their fellow members. Value themselves and the special interests they represent over the good of all. I stand to have them identified and extracted because I am a voice of hope, a voice of outreach, a voice of logic, a voice of sincerity, a voice of the people.

So to you, members of this committee, I support your investigation and pledge to cooperate because I am a voice of honor, a voice of insight, a voice of judgment, a voice for the people.

As a matter of fact, you, the members of Congress can learn from me. Learn how to solve problems for the good of the people. Learn how to make sound decisions for the good of the country. Learn how to improve our international standing. Learn how to make tough decisions. You can learn from me because I am a voice of the conscience of America, a voice for the heart and mind of the world, a voice for intellectual thought beyond special interests, a voice for the people. And as BWE General Manager, I am the voice that will clean up the existing problems in BWE! Thank you.

Pelosi: Thanks Afrank for your honest and straightforward speech. Problems do exist in the same light in America, but we're here to discuss the problems in BWE. Next, I'm going to ask the EBW UnCut General Manager Paul Huffaker to step up to the podium. I've noticed that you and the CEO have had differences. I've also noticed your behavior in the promotion as well. So now you may step up to the podium to discuss BWE and the issues in the promotion.....

(Many wait in anticipation for Paul to approach the podium. However, he does not move, except to get comfortable in his seat.)

Pelosi: Well, do you have anything to say?

(Note: This speech was really written by Paul Huffaker)
Paul Huffaker: Of course I do. However, I would like to point out that you called and asked me to come here; I didn't call you. Therefore, I'm going to stay seated here, and I will be happy to tell you what you need to hear.

Pelosi: Are you trying to make a mockery of these proceedings?

Paul: The fact that our Congress is more concerned about an entertainment event rather than the current economic collapse, the potential for global war, or technologies that make it very difficult to keep information private bothers me slightly. And I know, "we're not here to discuss these problems." Whatever. Let's get down to business. First Franky, you can campaign all you want for a BWE management position. I could care less if Throwdown! is run into the ground at this point. But when you takes shots at me and the way I run EBW, I take that very personal. Who in the hell do you think you are to say what needs to be fixed in BWE Promotions??? Do you read the monthly reports on ratings? Do you run the meetings where the business of blog wrestling is discussed and handled? Are you anything more than some guy looking to make his "big break?" No, you're not. I sit in the meetings, run meetings, and handle day-to-day operations in EBW where we discuss the problems and look for solutions. I'm not going to bang my drum and lie under oath by saying EBW is perfect. Nothing is or ever can be. But for anyone to think they can come in and make sweeping changes across BWE Promotions to "fix" things is not only ignorant, it's pathetic. And if by some act of whatever you worship you do manage to pull it off, don't you think your talents would be best served elsewhere?

I don't mean to be a smartass, but the thought of someone putting me in the same breath as that idiot Gary Bettman gets my temper high! I'm not running EBW into the ground the way he's running the NHL into the ground! So Franklin, best of luck, but be warned sometimes when you get what you wished for from the genie you will find that he has given you exactly what you had coming.

Now then, Ms. Pelosi, you mentioned the differences between myself and the CEO. If you are implying anything, I would suggest that you come right out and say it. My attorneys have discussed some topics that I should not talk about, and while this was one of them, I will address this situation because I am a man of honor and integrity. I have been associated with David Funk for three years. In those three years, I have carried BWE Promotions on my back. When something needed done, be it behind the scenes or on-camera, who got called for the job? Me. And I did it willingly because I knew this was going to be something big. I have looked at that first year as an internship; I learned a great deal from Dave. However, I began to notice once I became vocal about problems inside the company, my role in it became greatly diminished.

So I bit my tongue and played the game. And soon, Dave came to me with the offer of EBW General Manager. He was impressed with my leadership within the company and my handling of talent that he wanted me to be the same guilding light on EBW. Originally, he wanted EBW to be completely seperate from BWE Promotions and only have a minor role in the company. Then, he saw how well the first UnCut show went. And he wanted the glory for himself! I didn't expect my mentor to become jealous, but two weeks later I find out that I now have a weekly report to produce for the CEO of BWE Promotions. With really stupid things included like: where is the company heading?; which talent are of no use to us?; how is locker room morale?; what talent is being underutilized? This is the very same thing he was being sent by his people in BWE, so why should I waste my time on this when I could be using it to scout talent and help improve the show? That's when I found out that Dave was plotting against me and EBW! He was using these reports to find my weaknesses and exploit them to humiliate me and the superstars I had recruited! And I found out that he was plotting to use the "Draft" to steal my top talent and later claim that it was a random draw!

Obviously I became very angry, and that's when I went into seclusion. I was then contacted by one of our superstars, the current EBW Heavyweight Champion, Guardian of the Galaxy, and he helped me understand what I needed to do to right the ship and take charge. It was on that day that I created the AOC, or the Agents of Chaos as we were later christened. Since that time, my actions have come under fire from outside EBW. However, the superstars in the locker room have come to understand that the rules of the game are different now. They understand what I am trying to do, and while none of them are on my Christmas Card list, they respect me and my position. As far as I'm concerned, Dave used that pathetic KDL as a puppet as GM of BWE Throwdown! to allow him to continue to sabotage my career while stroking his massive ego!

That leads me to my next point-- and I do not apologize for going long, you called me here so deal with it. While KDL was the GM on Throwdown!, he continually impeded the progress of the investigation into the use of underage bloggers in BWE Promotions while I was nothing but courteous to the investigation and helped wherever I could. These young kids are the future of the company and the entire industry. Some of them are ready to get in the ring right now, but because of the sanctions against it, I restricted my young competitors, including two that were drafted to my show. However, Dave has not only used underage talent in the past, he's encouraged it! Look at Kris123456! On the same night as my debut with the company, October 28, 2006, Kris competed in the ring! Don't believe me? I brought indisputable evidence! Here's a DVD of the Throwdown! event from that night!

(Paul hands a DVD to an off-camera personel who loads the DVD.)

(Excerpt from BWE Throwdown- 10/28/06
Announcer: Kris is now getting back up! Kris just hit the St. Louis Ram, which is a shoulder tackle off the top rope! Kris is now got MB Stalker in a face lock, and is climbing the top rope! He nails MB Stalker with the Missouri Compromise(Tornado DDT)! Kris goes for the cover, but the referee is still down! But David Funk goes back into the ring! Funk counts 1-2-3 as the new referee! And raises Kris' hand as the victor!)

Paul: He raised his hand! Not only has Dave known about underage competitors, he was the reason the problem began! I hope that whatever consequences come of this do not negatively impact EBW, which has used absolutely no underage talent, without exception. We have two great kids in the waiting, and I hope as do they, that they will be allowed to climb in the ring and show why they are the two hottest young prospects our business has ever seen.

Pelosi: That is some compelling evidence, and we will work to verify its authenticity. One thing all of us are concerned about is your recent behavior in EBW. As a member of the management staff, is it not your responsibility to lead by example? So then, why did you attempt to behead one of your talents on a live broadcast?

Paul: Because I forgot we were not on tape delay! (Laughs). I'm kidding! I never attempted to behead anyone. It was a carefully orchestrated plan as part of the AOC's show of power. It's kind of like when the United States tells a country to lay down arms or else. We didn't even use a really sword. It was plastic, and very well made by our prop designers. I should mention this is one of the topics my attorneys asked me not to discuss, so let me make perfectly clear I have absolutely nothing to hide. Are there any more questions you would like to ask?

Pelosi: We have reviewed a great deal of footage from BWE & EBW, going back to follow the progress of the company and its use of talent. We we're especially interested in your debut and rapid rise from conducting interviews to being an in-ring talent in a matter of 6 months, not including your one-night role as GM of Throwdown! in 2006. We took great notice in the fact that you have never been a fan favorite in BWE Promotions, and at times appear to revel in the fact that you are booed on a nightly basis. Why is that?

Paul: (smirking) Have you ever been hated before? You have, don't worry-- I hate you myself. Do you know how much fun you can have being "the bad guy?" Think back to your favorite movie. There's the play-by-the-rules hero who tries with all his might to stop the forces of evil, but in so doing endangers everyone around him including the very city he's trying to protect. Then, there's the villian. He is ruthless, cunning, vicious, blood-thirsty to the point he tastes it on his lips. And he gets to blow crap up; lots of crap! He takes the neccessary hostage, usually the hero's girlfriend, and tortures her as maliciously as possible. He is the personification of evil! Point is, when you think of your favorite movies, who do you think of first, the hero or the villian?

(Paul pauses and looks over the inquiring faces, seeing the reaction he expected from the diatribe, he continues.)

Paul: My point exactly. I'm not a bad guy. I'm your stereotypical good guy. Straight-A's in school, honor society, always following the rules, etc. Of course, that also means I was picked on, teased, bullied, and basically emasculated. Being bullied is not fun; bullying apparently is. I would not know, of course, as I have never done such a thing.

Pelosi: Are you saying your days in school caused you to become inexplicably evil?

Paul: (laughs) No, I'm saying that when you are constantly on the receiving end of that kind of crap, there are two things you can do. 1) Take it and live a miserable life. Or 2) you can do something about it. I began training, learning how to defend myself and the such. That is why I was able to make such a seamless transistion from interviewer to competitor, I had been in training all along. Of course, Dave knew that and while I will not speak for him, I think he knew I wanted to be in the ring and making an impact in that way. Surprisingly good question. I bet you don't have another one. Is there anything else you need from me?

Pelosi: Yes, we would like to know how you feel EBW has progressed since its inception in 2007.

Paul: I think we are making very significant strides. Our quality has increased exponentially since we started. We have brought in great new talent, released talent that did not improve or show committment to improving, and we have champions to represent our brand that epitomize the escense of the brand. One thing I have prided myself on is the stark differences between UnCut & Throwdown! I came into this knowing we were going to need to work hard to make EBW the best, and once I got everyone working toward that goal, we started to show what we can do. If you compare the EBW cards to the BWE cards, you will notice harder working talent, more quality over quantity, and a desire to be the best. Look at the main event that is set for No Recovery. At our biggest show of the year, we have the EBW Champion Guardian of the Galaxy defending against both The Phoenix & Lester's Legends in the most dangerous match ever devised! A match so dangerous, we will probably never be able to do it again! But everyone in the match agreed this is the only way to settle things, and to put the EBW Heavyweight Championship on-the-line makes this the match to watch!

Pelosi: Pardon me for interrupting, but as I recall, one person was not mentioning who will also be competing in that match. You. How do you feel about your boss placing you into that match, and is this to be considered punishment for your actions in EBW?

Paul: (Rolls eyes) I expected this question about 15 minutes ago. Obviously, I'm not happy being forced to participate in a match for my brand's championship. What if? What if I do become the champion? What then, Dave? You can't have management as Champion! Wait, I forgot, this is the same guy who for years called himself the BWE World's Heavyweight Championship, and did not stop doing so until the actual title belt was created, per the request of the BWE Board of Directors! I would like to point out my belief that every contract has a loophole, even the ones I've written. In fact, I have always built a backdoor into my contracts that would allow talent to keep themselves out of unfavorable situations. I do not force talent to do anything I would not do, which is evidenced by the very fact that even against my will I will be in the main event match at No Recovery. Unless I have car trouble. Long trip from Ohio to Texas (smirks toward David Funk). I would also like to mention to Dave, that he made a drastic mistake in forcing me into that match. A mistake he is going to live with for a long time. (smiles toward David Funk, who glares back)

Pelosi: What mistake is that?

Paul: I'm sorry, but until the paperwork is finalized, I have been told by my attorneys not to comment further on the matter. Any other questions from the Democrat side of the room? Republicans, anything you want to say? Nothing? Wow! I have rendered the entire Congress speechless! You guys never shut up!

Pelosi: Neither do you, it would seem. Thank you for you comments, even if you were rude to all of us and the precedings.

Paul: What the hell do I care? I didn't vote for any of you!

Pelosi: Thanks Paul for your rather interesting insight. Now I'm going to ask that Amy Nobillos step up to the podium in a moment. She's not associated with BWE in any way, but her latest lawsuit does provide relevance to the issues in BWE. Her lawsuit for abuse towards the CEO shows a pattern of behavior that could be deterimental to the promotion. Amy, you may now step up to the podium.

(Amy steps up to the podium with her speech in hand)
Amy: I don't want to take a lot of time here today, but what David Funk has done is wrong. I do hope that he will get the help he needs, and that we can remain good friends when this is done. However, I do feel compelled to report that he has been humorously abusive to me and to at least another blogger recently. He injured my jaw which as you the people can see has swollen up. My jaw wasn't injured because of him punching, hitting, or kicking me in the jaw. It was injured because of his over the top entries that make me laugh so hard that my jaw hurts. Never before have I had my jaw injured, and I have proof that this isn't a pre-existing injury. I'll consider dropping the lawsuit when and if he provides notation on each humorous entry so that it isn't the fault of the readers if they get injured. I don't appreciate him thinking it is funny that my jaw hurts, but I'm a forgiving person if he provides the correct rating for those entries before posting them. Just telling his readers and members of BWE to not take them seriously is not enough because at least two have been hurt by it. Furthermore, I've been contacted by my attorneys that he is considering on an insanity plead which I know first-hand that he knows exactly what he's doing. It is my hope that David will do this, and protect others from potential harm as I've become exposed to. Thank you.

Pelosi: Thanks Amy for your speech, and honesty. It seems an on-going trend and pattern is showing in BWE. Now I'm going to read a statement from DJ Tammy, who is an active female wrestler on the BWE Throwdown! roster. As a result of international laws, DJ Tammy wasn't able to show up here in Washington D.C. because of being from the Philippines.
(Pelosi opens the document and begins to read it)
Pelosi: "I, DJ Tammy, am good friends with David Funk, who I call Mr. D on the blogs. But because of him repeatedly injuring my tummy because of laughing too much at his posts, I'm reporting this to U.S. Congress. It is noted that he did not injure my tummy while in BWE, but on his site on a number of occasions. His humorous abuse has caused uncontrollable tummy pains as a result of reading his posts. I realize nothing can be done in BWE about this, but I assure you that this has happened to me more than once. I will file a lawsuit on behalf of myself in an attempt to stop the abuse from spreading into BWE. For the good of the promotion, I will continue to be the Calendar Blogger as I make my mark in BWE. I will destroy the Blog Parasite for being better than everyone else because of Google Rankings before doing my part to get rid of the sexist WHFB clan. The lawsuit as well as some of the other problems in the promotion will only fuel my fire as I rise to the top of BWE. Thank you."

Pelosi: The insight provided by Amy and DJ Tammy does indeed show relevance, but now I'm going to ask that the CEO David Funk step up to the podium. After the latest allegations we've heard thus far, I won't end this Congressional hearing without the CEO's side.
(David Funk steps up to the podium)

Funk: I've come here today with an open mind, and admit fault for not being more hands on with BWE Promotions of late. But I'm going to cut straight to the point, and I'm not going to be so forgiving as to some of the problems that were discussed already today. Yes, I can accept full responsibility of the underage bloggers as pointed out earlier. I'm willing to take whatever punishment comes my way.

As far as Afrank Angle goes, I do believe he has what it takes to be BWE GM of Throwdown! He's very bright, and makes snap decisions that he thinks is right for all involved. But I'm not going to rush into a decision to make him GM until I look at it more closely. I will say he's one of the most objective people I know, and that isn't the case with our EBW GM.

When I hired Paul Huffaker to be GM, it was in the best interest of the company because of the growth and direction it was going. Unfortunately, he's corrupted EBW by constantly abusing his power while not growing the promotion as a result of it. Case in point was when he booked himself into a match against a Filipina blogger named miatay. Not only was it a show of power and being sexist, but he tried to end her career by threatening a Con-chair-to on her. Here's the evidence on February 18, 2009: EBW UnCut. Another thing that he failed to point out because of his overly biased viewpoint is that he is siding with the same woman that made it her mission to have me removed as CEO by the Board of Directors for testing positive for a blog enhancer. And yet, the test was forged by her and there's strong evidence to support she broke into my BWE Vault in High Point, NC to steal the Women's Title belt. Now I certainly didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but that is as clear as day what is going on here.

For months, I've been telling him to increase international ties, and yet only one performer on EBW is from outside North America. That is miatay, whom he's tried to get rid of for months. You look at BWE, and there's Maxi, Twinks Blogula, DJ Tammy, Ria, Mileka, Ztwo...need I go on? Where's the international talent in EBW since we travel the globe? We set up a show at the ArnieV Civic Center in the Philippines in February, and yet Paul failed to make mention of her during the event. And who received the phone calls and emails of complaints about that? Me. Yet Arnie signed with BWE. For months, I've contemplated what to do about the problem to prevent countries from lawsuits across the globe. So by the time No Recovery! gets here, I'm going to appoint a new Management Director for both EBW UnCut and BWE Throwdown! to give balance to both brands while increasing international ties and preventing said lawsuits. I've narrowed my choices down for both brands.

Pelosi: So you're thinking Management Directors will balance the power of both brands?

Funk: That's exactly what I'm saying. I mean, isn't that what our Legislative and Judicial Branches do to keep our President from having total power? Sure, some don't like the fact I'm in a position of power, but I haven't exactly abused it. One brand has a vacated GM position while the other GM is so full of it that he purposely throws himself into the spotlight to show just how much of a tyrant he really is. And I'm tired of hearing his whiny excuses for not focusing on signing talent which could be accomplished if he would quit abusing his power by taking camera time for himself like some other famous CEO we know in another famous promotion. The Management Director position can sign talent just like a GM can, and is over everyone in the promotion except me and the General Managers. It will also be in their contracts that a GM cannot terminate a Management Director under any circumstances. A GM can terminate anyone else if need be though.

Pelosi: This does sound like a beneficial move for the promotion. Balance does seem to be lacking in management positions on both brands. Anyway, I want to discuss the lawsuits filed against you from Amiable Amy and DJ Tammy. What can you do about this?

Funk: I guess I have to be angry, and show my disdain for blogging more often. Only kidding. I can't believe Amy and Tammy have filed lawsuits for humorous abuse towards me. It was never my intention to injure them through laughter, but I'm about tired of the lawsuits filed against me. Amy does have a good point about better warnings on our blogs, but I can't control anyone's reaction to the programming. In the meantime, here are some lawsuits I'm waiting to hear about:

1. Maxi sues me for saying "Gosh Gosh" and for the rights to use all variations of the word "blug" because she didn't want me to use them.
2. Twinks Blogula sues me because I ruined her sweet image by having her portray a vampire-like character in BWE. Then, she sues for the rights to the Twinks Blogula name against BWE.
3. I used Dhemz' un-patented catch-phrase of "Holy cranberry batman!" which she will legally patent just before taking me to court.
4. Sharon and Meryl will both file joint suits against me for using "^.^" during any comment, blog entry, or in chat boxes. Cacai M. can sue me for using "~.~", too.
5. Jane will sue me because the EL POLLO LOCO chicken I mailed to her caused a sickness. She called a fowl on that one!
6. S-H-Y, Chuchie, Maxi, Shydub, Sassychick, and others will all testify in a civil trial for the rights to use "Mr. D" to call me by on their own blogs. Maxi will then sue them all claiming she was the first(she would win that one for the record) to use the Mr. D name. I would counter-sue her for laziness.
7. How about someone having me arrested for being a cannibal, but tell the judge that the only thing I don't eat are clowns because they taste funny. I guess they'll give me the cold shoulder for showing up on trial, huh?

I could go on, but I will say that BWE is going to see many changes regardless of the outcome of these hearings. In the end, I will do what is best for BWE Promotions. Though it doesn't appear on Basic Bloganomics as much as I would like, the future is bright. I only ask that my time and service to build BWE from the ground up for over three years is taken into consideration before handing down very stiff penalties. Thank you.

Pelosi: Mr. Funk, I appreciate your time and addressing other issues in the promotion. We will allow you the time to appoint Management Directors on both brands, but will still not ignore the problems addressed here today. It is the decision of Congress to announce penalties and sanctions, if any, against BWE Promotions at the No Recovery Pay-For-View. So everyone can tune in to find out what we will decide then because time will be needed to discuss the proper punishments if need be. The cases for Amiable Amy and DJ Tammy will also be addressed at the No Recovery! telecast as well. These hearings are officially adjourned.

Reporter: Well, that is all for the Congressional Hearings with BWE Promotions. Even though this isn't resolved, many issues were addressed and the penalties will announced at the No Recovery! PFV at the T-Sad Motor Speedway in Dallas, Texas. BWE Promotions is in for some big changes coming soon. That is all for the special presentation of the Congressional Hearings in BWE Promotions. Thank you to all for tuning in. So long, and be sure to tune into the BWE Pay-For-View coming soon to Basic Bloganomics for the result of this and so much more!

Happy Birthday DJ Tammy & Contest Results!

Right now, it is nighttime in the Philippines where DJ Tammy lives, so I wanted to get this out before then to say Happy 30th my dear friend! I first commented on her blog when she put out a picture of her on a calendar. She then asked if blog wrestling hurts, and we've been very good online friends since(despite the lawsuit of her saying I injured her tummy through laughter which is another story in itself).

Tammy and her lovely sister Rosilie ran a contest where participants created a blog slogan. The results can be found by looking at the winners of the contest. You can click WBE Blog of Fame or go to the top of the page to see the latest entry inductees.

I have a Congressional Hearing to attend, so I have to cut this short(LOL). For her birthday, Tammy will be on the cover of the July issue of BWE Disclosed. She was mentioned on the June issue.

Congrats to all the winners in Tammy and Rosilie's contest and Happy Birthday again DJ Tammy!

BWE, EBW to Appear at Congressional Hearings in Washington

WASHINGTON D.C., USA(AB)- BWE Promotions will be appearing in Washington on Saturday, July 18 after months of allegations that have been levied and reported against the company.

In October 2008, it was reported by what was then an unknown group of men that the promotion was violating the policy of underage bloggers. Other reports have surfaced as to what will be discussed in Congress.

BWE CEO David Funk, EBW General Manager Paul Huffaker, and BWE member Afrank Angle are scheduled to appear for the promotion. None were available for immediate comment about the Congressional Hearings.

Also, Amiable Amy is scheduled to appear with a lawsuit against the CEO. It is widely believed to be because of her jaw that she claims was injured after nonstop laughter created by the CEO.

DJ Tammy's attorney is also filing suit against Funk, better known to many in the blogging community as Mr. D.

Not much is known as to who will preside over the hearings in Washington.

BWE and EBW have been operating on separate brands in BWE Promotions for two years.

Daddy Sports Writer, BWE Agree to Terms

New York, NY, USA(AB)
- Rad of Daddy Sports recently agreed to a deal with Blog Wrestling Entertainment(BWE) after discussions with his wife Stephanie and his little girl. The terms of the deal allows him to bring his family to events, and even his wife can be a ringside manager.

Back in April, Rad made his return to blogging after a hiatus from the community. Since that time, his popularity has risen in the community and his wife is blogging now, too.

The New York native is the latest superstar blogger that is eager to take his superb skills to the ring.

It is also not known what brand Rad will be on between BWE or EBW. Rad wasn't available for comment because of his work schedule.

Rosilie Signs With BWE

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Philippines(AB)
- Rosilie, the sister of BWE Throwdown! Superstar DJ Tammy, has signed a contract with BWE Promotions.

Her sister has been encouraging her to join the promotion for sometime despite the fact Tammy is threatening a lawsuit for humorous abuse against BWE CEO David Funk.

Rosilie is the latest international star to sign with BWE, and the Filipina beauty is looking forward to her time in the promotion.

The signing comes at the heels of No Recovery!, the biggest Pay-For-View in BWE history. Rosilie's sister is scheduled to be on the card in two matches that night, and both will be in attendance at the event in Dallas, Texas.

The Filipina star wasn't available for comment about the deal to bring her to the promotion.

Dias Family Inks Deal With BWE

SACRAMENTO, CA, USA(AB)
- Greg and Demcy Apdian Dias have signed lucrative contracts with BWE Promotions according to sources close to the company and family.

Greg, a proud member of the Air Force Reserve, signed the deal after being able to work part of the time in BWE. His expertise and training will serve him in whatever role he has in the promotion.

Greg was unavailable for comment because of having to be deployed recently to South Carolina. His agent was able to say that he's looking forward to in-ring competition no matter how often it is.

Demcy, better known to many as Dhemz in the blogging community, has had quite a successful career as a blogger and recently in movies as well. According to her, she's performed her own stunts in the action movies she's been in.

The proud Filipina is a full-time mother, and BWE has allowed her to bring family to events.

When asked over the phone about the deal, Dhemz was overjoyed about it all.

"Holy cranberry batman," said Dhemz. "Oh my, oh my I'm in BWE Promotions!"

It is not known when each will debut in BWE Promotions, but the Dias family is looking to make an immediate mark in the company.

Delta Flight 1714 Movie

For those who aren't familiar with this, you can check back to this entry for details as to how this came about: How Yesterday Went(July 1).

Note: Some ideas and credit goes to my friend Tammy, who was a nice lady I met at the airport in Ontario. She contributed much to the making of this post. Also, much of this is based on a true story with a fictional script written in.

Delta Flight 1714
Starring Tammy(friend from the airport in Ontario, CA), David Funk

Plot
: All Tammy wanted to do was report for deployment on time for the Navy Reserve. All David wanted to do was go home after a week and a half stay in Moreno Valley. Other passengers were eager to get to their destination as well. Originally scheduled to depart from Ontario, California to Atlanta, Georgia by Delta airlines at 6:30am Pacific Time, Flight 1714 is canceled due to mechanic problems. But the mechanic problems are only part of the story.

A conspiracy exists as representatives from Delta in Ontario repeatedly inform passengers that the mechanical problems are being fixed. As the truth unfolds, it is later revealed that no such full-time mechanic is in Ontario because of the small-size airport. They also tell passengers that a part to fix the mechanical problem is coming, but no part is seen until over six hours after the flight is scheduled to take off. The departure time is changed, but the plane never leaves the ground. A mechanic is supposedly on their way, but no one ever spots him after both Tammy and David are asking if they've ever shown up hours later.

The pilot and flight crew were proven wise to not fly the aircraft because of an inside job to rig the plane to not fly safely. As the passengers sit and wait for a flight, a group of unknown men purposely overbook every flight going out of Ontario through for the next few days in an attempt to ruin the 4th of July weekend for everyone else there. Two friends of Tammy and David then book a red-eye flight out of Los Angeles to make it home for the holiday much to the chagrin of the evil-doers.

Other passengers then make an attempt to go home or to a hotel from a voucher provided by Delta only to find out that they face resistance in doing so from the unknown group of men. All this after the remaining passengers sit in the airport for 12 hours. This is when we see a side of Tammy getting violent dealing with the group trying to stop her from deployment to Gulfport, Mississippi through the Navy Reserve. The tactics she uses to combat the evil forces earns her the name of the Ontario Strangler(inside joke). We see David raising his voice at representatives and the infamous group which is something he seldom does, too.

Now watch as a group of unknown men set out to ruin a holiday weekend for everyone at a small airport beginning with rigging a plane that causes a mechanical problem for a flight to Atlanta that starts a chain reaction of delays, cancellations, and deception at every turn. But they have no idea who they've made mad, and what will happen to them is nothing they prepared for. This is a must-see suspense thriller that will have you guessing until its unpredictable ending.

Delta Flight 1714! Coming soon to a theater near you!

Note: There were NO stunt doubles used in this film, and Tammy made sure she was able to perform all of her own scenes which was initially a problem for her signing on to play herself in the lead role. For the record, she is strongly against stunt doubles for a film.

Also, she strongly encouraged those interested in walk-by roles for the movie since it is not finished! LOL!

I hope my friend Tammy will see this there in Mississippi!

In the Sacramento area

I'm here at a hotel in Rancho Cordova after arriving at the Sacramento airport. I had to take a connection flight from Charlotte, NC to Minneapolis/St. Paul before departing to Sacramento.

I plan on posting that Delta Flight 1714 plot script(not the entire movie) tomorrow. Also, the latest BWE Disclosed magazine for July is coming soon as well. And, I hope to get out a post for Saturday for Windmill's idea he has going on.

But for now, I'm going to bed and will blog hop a little tomorrow night. Thanks for the support and visits everyone!

Moreno Valley Photos

Here are some photos from my time in Moreno Valley, California.

I was in my friend Mike's F150 taking some shots. Notice the "M" at the top of the mountain in the background.

This was my last day in Moreno Valley as Mike and I headed to the mall. Again, the background on the mountain is the same.

This is outside our hotel. I liked that view.

This is downtown and I love the palm trees! I'll be seeing a lot of that in the coming months!

This is a look from inside Ontario Airport on the day my flight was canceled. I flew out of Orange County the next day.

Next stop: Sacramento area beginning on Monday, July 6.

How Yesterday Went

I was scheduled to return home yesterday to North Carolina from Ontario, California, but the flight was canceled due to mechanical problems. I was at the airport for over 12 hours, and will hopefully be back home today. They couldn't reschedule or book us another flight because that airport was already overbooked anyway. I have to fly out of another airport today because Ontario is overbooked today, too.

I'm being paid for travel time, but will be flying back out to Sacramento on Monday so I only get three days off. Delta Airlines did give me a $100 voucher for future flight anywhere in the country within a year, meal vouchers, hotel voucher(very nice hotel), and transportation to another airport this morning.

One positive is I did spend my time talking to new friends at the airport. And oh yeah, you can expect another movie to be made(and plot to be written this weekend) about the experiences of what happened to us all yesterday(besides, it is close to Hollywood anyway). It will be called "Flight 1714".

One of the new friends I talked to was named Tammy(no, not the red-hot DJ Tammy, sorry), who was a real nice lady. She lives in California, and is being deployed from the Navy Reserve to Gulfport, Mississippi. Believe it or not, she actually did make suggestions for the script for this movie. I told her I blogged sometimes, and write blogger movies which was even funnier when she added to it.

The other two guys I talked with were from West Virginia, and missed being able to work here because of the cancellation. Luckily for them, they caught a red-eye flight out last night. They also had some key points to add to the movie. At least we were able to joke about this a little bit.

The whole point to this while it is frustrating because these kind of things happen at airlines all the time is that you can always find some good out of anything.

Well, I won't be getting back to North Carolina until later on tonight, so I won't be online again until Friday. Thanks to you all for your continued visits as well as links, too. I hope to update the badge and link list as well as post a little more before I leave for Sacramento on Monday.
