Saturday Saved: Meeting Boxer Billy Bailey

As most of you know that have followed me on Facebook, you probably know about my flight back home yesterday.

I had a connection flight from Fresno to Phoenix to Charlotte yesterday. It was on my flight from Phoenix to Charlotte that I unexpectedly met a professional boxer. I literally sat next to professional boxer Billy "Goat" Bailey and his beautiful wife Lucia. He was on his connection flight from Bakersfield to Phoenix to Charlotte to Cleveland for his fight against hometown favorite Ronald "The American Dream" Johnson on Saturday night.

It was interesting because when we both got on the plane, he had the aisle seat while I sat at the window. The middle seat was vacated, and he turned around to notice a woman had the same seat as another in the back of the aircraft. He joked and said that the woman would have to go to cargo in order to stay on the plane. At that point, everyone was on the plane, and our middle seat was still vacated. So before takeoff, the woman took the seat. The woman was Billy's wife Lucia, and I had no idea of that until she introduced herself to me. She was given a free drink because of the mishap with the seat arrangement.

They asked me if I lived in North Carolina, and I asked them where they were from. He said Bakersfield, CA, and then I asked them if they were visiting family in Cleveland. Then he said he was on his way there for his boxing match against Ronald Johnson. I was stunned at this point especially when he told me a minute later that he was on the same card that features boxing star Hector "Macho" Camacho Jr! He's defending the WBF Light Heavyweight title in the bout.

Just before takeoff, the flight attendants asked us to turn off all of our cell phones. Then we heard a cell phone go off, and it turned out to be Billy's phone. That's when I said, "It looks like you'll be going to cargo now!" LOL!

Lucia was nervous of flying when the plane took off, but was okay after that. She told me she was a hair stylist back in California, and Billy said he worked for the city there in the Bakersfield area, too.

It wasn't long after that I was asked what I was doing in Fresno, and I told them about my line of work. I even told them about attending the Red River Shootout football game in Dallas, Texas in October between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns. That's when he told me a little bit about Texas since he lived there previously, too. From there on, we discussed sports especially NASCAR and college football as well as California and the Carolinas. The guy follows sports very well for someone that obviously has a hectic schedule and training regime to maintain.

I told them that I had done some sports writing and wrote on my site for money on the side as well. That's when he told me of a friend of his that created movies and brought them to life through writing, too. So they asked for my website and email not long after I told them about the lawsuits I have against me from....well...most of you know by now who they are(Amiable Amy & DJ Tammy). I didn't tell them that because I wouldn't want to be sued by them two and subsequently punched by a professional boxer in the process if they were injured reading my site, too. LOL! They laughed when I told them I write wrestling storylines on occasion as well.

He told me of a match he had in Philadelphia which led to him having to flee out of there in a hurry as well as his first professional match where he tore his ACL. Since he follows boxing very well, I asked him about Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. We both agreed about how dominant he was in his last fight against Ricky Hatton. I asked him if a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight was coming, and he said it would happen eventually.

About midway through the four-hour flight, Lucia had left her seat and grabbed her bag of peanuts she brought on board. She was generous enough to share them with Billy and I. But one thing I took note of(as did the flight attendant) is that she was very considerate in not throwing the peanut shells on the ground. Instead, she threw them in a plastic cup which was a clear indication of what type of people they are.

I was honored that they asked me for my email address as well as invitation to be friends on Facebook(which he already accepted). I told them I would make a movie on my site with them as the stars which they're looking forward to. I came up with another idea in mind for that today as well. No, I'm not telling any of you yet what that is!

He loves the sport of boxing and his persistence and determination(he's been boxing since he was 15 which is now for 16 years of his life) has kept his dream alive of making it big in the sport.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of them because I was heading home after my flight to Charlotte and they still had their connection to Cleveland not long after getting off the plane.

For more about Billy Bailey, check out this article written by Jackie Gibson: Billy Bailey: Born To Box

He was scheduled to have his first televised fight in July against Anthony Ferrante(pictured above with Bailey) in Philadelphia, but it was switched even though everyone has said it was the best fight on the card. So now, this is Bailey's first televised match this Saturday.

His fight against Cleveland resident Ronald Johnson is on InDemand Pay-For-View on Saturday night. Here's the card:

Hector "Macho" Camacho Jr vs Israel Cardona for vacant WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation light middleweight title: Camacho has won six straight fights, and a win for him here against a tough Cardona would be another step forward to being considered an elite boxer.

Ronald "The American Dream" Johnson(10-1) vs Billy Bailey(9-4) for WBF Light Heavyweight Title: Johnson is back after a two year layoff, and will have the crowd in his corner. However, Bailey has a granite chin and has already fought three times this year which could give him the advantage. According to Johnson, he has not studied any film of Bailey, but is aware of his toughness.

Other boxers scheduled to fight are Cleveland fighters Aaron Williams, Juan McPherson, Cortez Bey, and Michael Bey Jr.

The event is at Cleveland State University's Woltstein Center on Saturday night.

Both Billy and his wife Lucia were very kind, considerate, and smart people. I'm really looking forward to them checking out this post as well as the Basic Bloganomics website. All I can say is that you have gained another fan in me, and I'll be tuning in tomorrow night! Good luck to you on Saturday my new friend!

Certainly a cool story! Thought I'd check in, keep up the good work here. Don't let me miss the next round of the wrestling action either - I'm not on SN or YouGab or any of the other sites much anymore.

Hey FOR! It has been a while, and thanks for the comment. Yeah, this is one of benefit of flying because you just never know!

Will definitely let you know of the latest wrestling action on here, too. :)

waaaaa...sounds like you had a blast talking to Billy Mr.D...thanks for sharing!

Hey the places I hang it's always OKAY to throw peanut shells on the floor.

Wow that was a very interesting meeting with a boxer :-D

Dhemz, it was a blast, and was totally expecting to sleep on the flight back home. But there was no way that was happening after this!

Thanks for commenting my dear friend! :)

Malvolio, I agree and know of places that do that. It was very considerate of Lucia to do that and even a flight attendant told her that.

Glad to see a comment from you again my dear friend! :)

Thanks S-H-Y! It was interesting to say the least. :)

What an interesting acquaintance! This meeting is like the "Taking Chance" theme, taking a note on your travel. I was grinning when he joke about the woman seated at the back seat... :-D. That was funny! Good thing you didn't joke back, or else you will see stars in heaven. :-P.

You are so observant about anything. I wish I am like that. My passive behavior is bad :-D. Thanks for the mention! At least, everyone knows that with me, one wrong move...courthouse my friend. :-DLOL! God bless you dear friend.

P/S: tell your friends to follow me in twitter hahaha... i need 200. Waaaa... :-D

Amy, it was an interesting flight with them to say the least! Yeah, that part with his wife(that I didn't know at the time) and the back seat was funny. He got it back when he was caught with his cell phone though.

I had to write some of this down to remember it because of how jet-lagged I was when I got back. Still, some of it was etched in my mind.

I hope you will stop with the courthouse and lawsuits! :-D

I hope they follow you my dear friend! ;) :)

Billy and Lucia are the bomb.

This link has been e-mailed to 'em (if you haven't done it already that is...)

Billy Bailey is what you would call a "Baad Man." He has no mercy in the ring. He only looks to beat the living sh*t out his opponents. Pound them to a bloody pulp, or 'til they stop breathing. Whichever comes first. Outside the ring, he's cool mofo.

Peace.

blugging 'd --- how can you possibly that lucky??? i hate you!!! (which is my way of saying I ENVY YOU A LOT!) hehe.

hmmm. many have been talking about the pacquiao-mayweather fight too. i hope that it's going to be good on pacquiao's side, win or lose (hopefully, win).

glad to know that he's into sports like you. the two of you really had a wonderful time together.

nice to know that his wife is a nice person, too. most wives of famous people are "snobs". *DONT_KNOW*

hmmm. movie... what will be 'd's next movie? i hope that billy will contact you and give you a job. i mean, who knows? that will surely be a great step for you. wooooaaah!

ooohhh =-O you are friends on facebook??? I HATE YOU AGAIN :-P HEHE.

well well. i should stop talking right now, right? gosh gosh.

see yah later alligator! in awhile crocodile! =-X

hugs blugging 'd!

Why do I always enjoy reading your posts and now you had that luck to have that long chats with Billy and his wife!eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!!!!

Take care always my friend! I kinda miss my sister, DJ Tammy who is out of town. You seemed to miss her too. :) :) :) :)

That's cool. Yep, with flights one never knows who you will see, let alone sit beside. Each time I fly I wonder if I'll get bumped to first class then discover Shania in the next seat.

Great story David ... thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing that info.

I can certainly vouch for him being cool outside the ring, and I'll be watching him in a fight for the first time tonight.

I appreciate you emailing the link to them, too. :)

Hi Maxi! :)

You know you shouldn't be hating on the BWE CEO, so I hope you really were kidding about the hate! Hehehehe.

Yes, it was quite the interesting conversation, and the movie will be made sometime on this site.

That's kind of the point I was making about Lucia being a nice person because I fully agree that many famous wives are not.

Yes, we are friends on FB now.

Thanks for the comment my dear blugging friend! ;) :)

Hi Rosilie! :)

It was unexpected luck with me meeting Billy Bailey. It was a great chat.

I'm glad I don't have any more lawsuits from your sister, but I do miss her comments on here though.

Thanks for the comment my friend! ;) :)

Exactly, Frank.

If you sat next to Shania, I'm sure a very long entry would follow behind it since I know the story there.

Thanks for stopping by again! :)

No problemo, amigo. Here's a Q&A vid of Ron Johnson. I guarantee it'll get your juices flowing. No doubt it'll add to the festivities in re: your viewing this fight tonight (the guy sitting behind him was Tyson's "Bundini Brown"-hype man back in the day):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HNoE8RTEnI

Audi.

Thanks for the video link, and it does get the juices flowing. It seems Johnson isn't concerned too much for Billy, and was already talking in future tense looking past him.

Will be tuning in later tonight for the fight! :)

WoW! David Funk,

Nice, nice article. Yes, indeed. It is not everyday or not on every plane trip that one gets to meet personalities of fame.

I hope Bailey hops in at Bloganomics some day soon and autographs your Blog.

Thanks for sharing your story with us on Saturday Saved. Have a great weekend there.

God Bless you Always!

Windy, you're correct that this doesn't happen everyday.

I watched his fight, and he lost by unanimous decision while going the distance against Johnson. He still kept fighting even after being knocked down in the 3rd round.

Still, I can't wait to see the day that he stops by here leaving his autograph in the process.

Glad to post this for the Saturday Saved.

Thanks and take care my good friend! :)

Hey! That's my sis and brother-in-law! :-P Aside from being tough, Billy and my sis are a very humorous couple!

Wow Claudia, thanks for sharing that about being Lucia's sister! I have to agree they are a very humorous couple!

I appreciate the comment! :)

wow! you had a great time talking with boxer Bailey and his wife! ^_^ I'm sure you are happy with your job right now..traveling and meeting people! Great life! Hurray! ^_^ hehehe. Plus blogging and meeting friends online ^_^.
By the way,I just got up from bed today and while I was reading your first sentence
"As most of you know that have followed me on Facebook, you probably know about my flight back home yesterday."
I read flight as fight...whew! I thought you will fight with a boxer as what I've seen on the picture hehehe! I thought you shifted your career to a boxer hehehe...

Thanks for the comment you left on my post...it's funny... ;)

Thanks Claudia for sharing that about your sister Lucia and Billy! They are a humorous couple, and it was funny some of the things we discussed on the plane.

I wished he would have won last night, but at least he was on television for the first time.

Thanks for the comment!:)

Meryl, it was great to talk with them on the plane. Traveling does have its benefits in this line of work I'm in, and one never knows who you'll see on a plane or sit next to.

That's funny about you thinking I had shifted careers to become a boxer. I wouldn't be in the same weight class as Billy, so at least I wouldn't have to deal with him in the ring if I did! LOL!

Yeah, I thought you would like that comment I made on your blog. Good day to you my very dear friend! ;) :)

Thank you for your story, man. I really appreciate, as I'm sure everybody over here does. Lucia's sister included, mos def ^^^. That was really nice of you and a damn good, well-written. Positive, too. You can believe Billy will swing by here to give you that autograph. He's one of the nicest, well-meaning guys you can find. And his wife has always been nice and hospitable whenever I visit them. Good people, man.

Peace.

haha. yes sir 'd! it was only a joke. ooops....

have a great sunday blugging 'd! ;)

You're welcome, buddy.

I don't have anything negative to say about this experience, and it's not my nature to do that much anyway.

From my experience meeting him, I fully agree with your comments about them.

I appreciate the kind words and comments, too.

I travel a lot for my line of work, and if I'm near the Bakersfield area again, you can bet I'll be arranging to meet them!

Take care my friend! :)

Maxi, I know you were joking.

You know I get that way sometimes stirring the pot! :-P Besides, I have to find some way to combat the blugging queen! :-P

I'll be by your site later on my dear blugging friend! ;) :)

I was gonna say "Go out for drinks" but, uh, I'm not sure you'd want that experience :-P You ever heard the phrase party animal? Well, square root that phrase. Then times it by two.

And that's not even throwing myself into the mix. One thing's for damn certain, you'll have a memorable time. You take care, too,.

Peace out. holmes.

(P.S. I knew that was Billy's cell phone when I read "Then we heard a cell phone go off"...)

LOL! He hinted around about that on the plane, too.

Believe it or not, I don't drink at all, but that doesn't mean I have a problem with anyone that does. Besides, I wouldn't be friends with many I know if that were the case. Even still, I'll take your word for it and I know for a fact I don't want that experience! :-P

If I'm in the area, I'll stop by to at least visit(and get some pictures this time around, lol)!

That was funny about the cell phone. Can you imagine the storyline for the fight if he was kicked off the plane or sent to cargo because his cell phone messed up the flight frequency? LOL! Only kidding.

Be well and feel free to stop by the site anytime. I should have Billy and Lucia's new movie out soon! LOL!

Take care buddy! :)

LOL! Now that's some funny stuff and one very hilarious comment! I'm sure you've become an instant fan favorite on that site you're talking about that was trashing Billy. LOL! I personally won't lower my standards to raise someone else's, but sometimes people do need to be reminded of their ignorance. You won't see me or any of the friends you see here bashing people like that.

I'm not a boxing fanatic by any means, but I follow it enough to see that some have no objectiveness when it comes to writing(that includes any sport). Johnson did win that fight, and we all knew it wasn't going to be easy for either boxer. That's why they're professionals and that's business as you know.

You're right about me having the exclusive story if he were kicked off the plane. I could have cashed in millions on that, and turned it into a movie. Speaking of which....

"I should have Billy and Lucia's new movie out soon! LOL! "

"I don't want to know nothing about that, man..."

LOL! The movie is about the flight! Lucia requested it to be made, so I need to get busy on helping their Hollywood careers. So now I should add the part about him being kicked off the plane to the script! Trust me, I'll post it on here.

I appreciate the sincerity of your comments as well as stopping by frequently. Thanks Nolan for comments and insights! Looking forward to more comments from you on here!

David you are are right about Billy and Lucia, they are great wonderful people. I should know I am Billy's Mom. They have 3 wonderful girls. I love them all so much.

When Billy was borned he came out looking like a boxer. My dad told me that he will do something great in this world. If he was here with us right now he would be right in middle fo Biily's corner LOL LOL. He was named after his Grandpa and my brother, By the way there name is Bill Bailey. LOL LOL

Yes I am pround of Bill, the Lord gave Billy to me and let me tell you he gave me a run for my money many times. But when he turned 14 and met Chuck the MAN that tought him about Boxing his world changed. I was blessed for that.

Billy is a boxer with the heart to box and always is thankful to the Lord for bringing him there. But also Billy cares about the other boxer. He does not talk trash about the other Boxer. His wife Lucia is one in a million. She supports Billy in his boxing. They are a great couple and the girls are just a good as they are.

I am so thankful for you printing this wonderful write up about them. When I was searching on line for any new write ups and I pulled this up and read it MAN O MAN it was so cool. I started crying. Thank Yo so much and may God bless you for meeting my son and his wife and getting to know them they are wonderful people and we know there are not that many around. Also I know it was a blessing for them to meet you. Thanks again

:)Oh dear, you touched the heart of Bailey's Mom. Now, you not only made somebody laugh but also , you make others cry too. What does it mean then? Hmmmm.... ;)

See? There are reallyblessings along the way David. And meeting them at the right moment and time was a blessing too. God bless. :-P

not one long entry ... probably a whole new blog!

Nolan, I agree that some people just talk, and it necessary at times for that to be pointed out to them.

As far as the language goes, I'm a big freedom of speech person. Just as long as it is not directed at anyone in the replies, I let the comments go. I see no disrespect in your comments to me or anyone else, so it's all good.

I did see that link you posted to me, and the guy was out of line for the comments he said of Billy. It's pretty bold of someone to tell Billy to go home after losing this recent even though his record is still 9-5. I won't mention the fact he's professional fighter, and that Johnson wasn't exactly a pushover for Billy to face, too. Close-minded people are everywhere as well. I picked up on him being from Vegas.

Anyway, that would actually be too funny covering the sparring session! That's definitely another scene in the movie script! The Esai Morales line was good, too.

No problem on offering you the forum to speak your mind.

Later buddy!

Debra, I very much appreciate the heartfelt comment about your son as well as Lucia. It was totally unexpected to meet them, but it happened for a reason and was indeed a blessing.

As they said on the Pay-For-View, he's a blue collar guy and doesn't get into trash-talking opponents.

Nice to hear that his family are good people as they are which I can definitely say on record myself that they are.

I had nothing but praise for them spending four hours on the flight talking with them. As you're likely aware of, many famous people don't have a care in the world for others. Billy is far from that for sure. Billy and Lucia are indeed a great couple.

I'm honored you searched this article out and added to this entry about your son. Thanks for taking the time to reply here. :)

Amy, I agree that there are blessings along the way which this is a clear example of. I was in the right place at the right time. I was touched by Debra's comment about her son.

Thanks for the comment again, Amy! :)

Frank, I can see you doing that. If this entry keeps up, I'm going to have to write a novel about this!

Thanks again for the comment!

Done deal. I had to go to the top of the food chain, to the founder of the site
Ashish Pabari and let him what dealio was. Here's his reply:

"Hi Nolan,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. If you post your comment again, please email me right after you do so and I will make sure it gets approved. Also email me a copy of the comment so I can, worst case, post it under your name for you.

I read the portion of the article that bothered you and removed the shot at Bakersfield as well as the reference to Mr. Bailey not being a real champion or whatever. I hope this amends the issue. You can criticize whatever else you feel needs to be criticized in your comment."

I hope this resolves the situation. Thanks for bringing this to my attention in a professional manner.

I agree that it says everything about the owner, and I like the way he handled your message, too.

Thanks for the message and link!:)

Thanks, holmes. I had a good time while I was here on your blog. I'll be on the lookout for that movie. Keep it positive, brother 8-)

Nolan, I just arrived here in San Jose. You guys rock there in Bakersfield with these nice comments!

Thanks again my good friend! :)

That's cool, Nolan. She's already cool with me for the comment she left on this blog! :)

I agree that Billy is blessed to have a friend like Nolan. Thanks Debra for commenting once again! :)

Nolan and Debra, it meant a great deal to me that you guys have taken the time to reply and add to this post!

So once again, thanks to you both! :)

Yes Meryl, it caught me by surprise to see Billy's mom leave a comment here. It really touched me as well.

Thanks Meryl! :)

You guys make me feel too good. I'm serious. Those are heartfelt words. They are very much appreciated.

I gots to drop some exclusive info now, as a parting gesture: Billy Bailey may very well be gearing up for battle next Friday in Sacramento, Nothing's official yet, but Billy Bailey plans on wearing a pair of gloves again. That was never in doubt. As he told me today: "I just want to fight." First time I talked to him since he's been back (He was already back at work.)

And THAT'S the exclusive story. You heard it here first...

Peace out, homie.

Thanks Nolan for sharing that exclusive! One of my friends(who happened to reply to this post) lives in Sacramento, so that would be cool to see that happen.

Yeah, Billy isn't done boxing, and I happened to talk with him last night on Facebook, too.

Keep me posted my good friend. :)

You talked to Billy before me?? Man, you're gonna have to slow your roll, partna. You probably had that exclusive first, huh...? Man, this is the way it always goes. Always the last one to know, too. That's a damn shame...As long as you give him fair write-ups I'm alright with it. I guess...

Seriously, though, if it goes off that be cool if you're friend could make it. Billy's fan-friendly. I'll keep you posted, man.

Or, sh*t, maybe you should keep me posted...

Alright, man. Til' the next episode.

Peace ;)

I thank you and the others, meryl, too. It's nice to see those comments on here. Very nice. Peace.

Will do. I had to change my post just in case you mighta took it serious lol. I don't ever mean any bad will to anybody. (Unless they talk sh*t.) You're cool in my book, hombre. I don't have any Twitter or Facebook accounts otherwise I'd add you.

(You look like you'd give anybody a run for their money, don't get me wrong...)

Nolan, I saw that post, and I didn't take it too seriously. LOL! I'm very easy going, and the friends I have that replied(and the ones who didn't) are very positive people as well. I was at work all day today and I can't access to the internet while there so that's why I'm now replying.

No doubt you are cool in my book, and I had no idea about the possible bout in Sacramento until you made mention of it.

Anyway, thanks buddy! :)

LOL! You must be talking about that photo on my Guestbook. I have that on Facebook as well, and there's a little story behind that because I was dared into doing my John Cena imitation with that(hence the chain around my neck).

It takes A LOT to get me mad at anything, and I hardly ever raise my voice to anyone for that matter.

Take care my good friend!:)

I thank Meryl and everyone else for their comments as well. Nolan, my friends that follow and comment all the time are about the best people you'll ever meet and you won't ever see them talk badly about anyone. That's why I associate with them on here.

It is very nice to see the nice comments from them, you, and the rest of the peeps there in Bakersfield! :)

Hey, that picture's GANGSTA! I'm serious, man. That's some bad ass sh*t. They mighta had Vegas police waiting for us had we all made that trip. We'll be keeping an eye out on that writer for a while, tho, so you never know. People get brave and sh*t...

I'm like you, man. So I know that it's one of them things where yeah it takes a lot to piss you off but once you get pissed, shiiit...I know, man. Well, it takes a lot to piss you off, but you hold a lotta sh*t in the interim. So when that one unlucky person breaks the dam, they get ALL THAT!!!

That's why these motherf*ckers don't f*ck with me. On the real. I don't give a damn how big they are, I will crack them in their f*cking skull as long as I'm conscious. I'm one of those people you have to shoot. Billy, too. I put this on everything, he got jumped by four dudes, instigated by one of their sh*t-talking girlfriends, and he F*CKED THEM ALL UP. He was on a train coming back from some fights in Irvine. They rushed him, right: He knocked the first dude out, cut and dropped another, and then tacked the other two up as they tried to get away. And then they pressed charges against HIM!!!

Ain't that a b*tch?!?

And there was other time he got jumped in a bar and, well, let me say pool sticks don't phase that, man.

Think you're safe strolling in front of him in a crosswalk, while he's sitting there buckled in his seat, waiting for the light to turn green? Think you could call him out and not get away with it?? I got stories for you, man...

But anyways, it's been a long, long time time since I got in a street fight. I talk my way out of plenty of potential ones. Partly because it's just not worth it these days. Unless someone disrespects me or hits me first, then I just chill. Otherwise it's on like Donkey Kong, baby. Hey, man. I've been wanting to f*ck someone up good for a while. You know, I think it's just a primal thing. And plus, I haven't sparred in a long time. But there's gonna be a day where someone thinks he can get brave, and woe be to that one...

I'm serious, man. But I don't like to instigate anything, man. That acting like a punk...I can't be hypocritical like that. And plus, I live by the rule that there's always someone out there that can whup your ass. Seriously. So I'm just gonna chill in the meantime.

I'm gonna add you on MySpace, cool...?

Wow! Billy sure isn't one to be messed with and neither are you! Still can't believe the nerve of those guys to press charges against him, but it is unfortunate when you are in the spotlight though. People do that stupid stuff all the time as you know.

Yeah, I have zero doubt that you and Billy have some stories to tell. Would love to hear some of them, and if they're anything like you described on this comment, it's worth listening to them!

BTW, thanks for the invite on MySpace. I don't login to that site very much, but still appreciate it nonetheless!

Later buddy!

Yeah, hopefully we'll all be able hook up one day in the future like you said, and and reminisce all that madness for you. I'm sure you have a wealth of stories of your own. No doubt we'd be interested. I like listening to people. Hearing them talk about their experiences. (Sh*t, and I know that chains there for a reason...)

That's cool about the My Space thing. I understand. I was out of it for a while, too. However, as the year unfolded my use went up again in the natural course of bizness. I don't like to bug people, esp. with that thing. I really only add for slightly deeper purposes than the norm. I'm cynically selective, but not because I think I'm better than anyone by any means. I'm just very low key, if you can believe that. But yeah man, you know just whenever you log on, just send me the invite if you'd like. I know you're busy, brutha.

On that note, I am signing off. Had a real pleasant time on your blog. It was more than a blog, though, and really the conduit for some really positive things for Billy. The Ronald Johnson chapter would've been much more less. It would've been all of our loss over here. This was a ray of light.

Thank you, David. You take care, and be well.

Peace,
Nolan

Shoot, I just saw you accepted the invite I forgot I sent you earlier. The damage is settin' in lol. Hey man, I really appreciate that okay?

Be safe :)

I'm gonna add you on MySpace, cool? I saw you had an account on there.

Well, it takes a lot to piss you off, but you hold a lotta sh*t in in the interim. So when that one unlucky person breaks the dam, they get ALL THAT!!!

That's why these people don't f*ck with me. On the real. I don't give a damn how big they are, I will crack them dead upside their skull as long as I'm conscious. I'm one of those people you have to shoot. Billy, too. I put this on everything, he got jumped by four dudes, instigated by one of their sh*t-talking girlfriends, and he F***ED THEM ALL UP. He was on a train coming back from some fights in Irvine. They rushed him, right: He knocked the first dude out, cut and dropped another, and then tacked the other two up as they tried to get away. And then they pressed charges against HIM!!!

Ain't that a b*tch?!?

And there was this other time he got jumped in a bar and, well, let me just say pool sticks don't phase that man.

Yeah, that would be cool to meet up, and we'll do it if I'm near there again. The chain was there because it was an act, and the reaction of my friends was a Mastercard moment(priceless)!

I'm very much the same way with bugging people on MySpace. The craziness of some people to spam like there's no tomorrow is annoying. That's partly why don't frequent the site because of the overflow of junk messages from spammers and invites from some I've never heard of. I don't mind being friends with anyone, but some message you for reasons other than wanting to be a friend as you know.

Anyway, glad this post was well received and praised by you and the rest of those in Bakersfield! Thanks buddy!

you are really being sued?

for too much creativity or something?

3rd, I was being sued for being humorously abusive causing injury to two particular people! LOL!

I have to admit I am very impressed with the quality of your blog. It is certainly a pleasure to read as I do enjoy your posts.
