My Training Week

Note: This is not to be taken seriously, and is a fictional story as well as an attempt to humor you.

It was rainy week, and I was heading back to my hotel the first day there. Little did I know that my life's perception & inspiration would change that week. My step and journey didn't exactly go as planned. Better yet, it wasn't my idea of our journey to forever, and I was playing the role of survivor during this training.

I was lost trying to find my way back to the hotel, and I stopped to ask for directions at a gas station. The guy told me to go to Stacey Avenue before turning onto Hot Stuff Avenue, and that's when I knew he had no idea how to get to the hotel either. That made me mad, and I would have normally punched the guy if I would have known. But that was the way I used to be, and I'm more calm now. Plus, that's not the way health, life, and living should be anyway.

I called the hotel to find out the best way to get there, and they didn't answer the phone because it was past closing time which brought out one of those challenges of life. I let them have it the next morning yelling at them, and the attendant at the front desk had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to talk with them about business matters as well as bitz'n pieces of my life ovah coffee. I just told them life is what you make it, and that I'm not a morning person or coffee drinker. The self expression on their faces was priceless. As they say, the truth hurts like freedom and I would much rather hear a maiden's testimony.

I do have to give them credit because they left me a message for my room to tell me nice things about places, people, events, good food, and life in the city.

At least the rain stopped the next morning after all that, and I was able to talk with my co-workers about anything under the sun. But the clouds would come back though.

After getting off work, I came back to the hotel to check my blog. When I checked the BLoGGiSTa Info Corner, I saw some were wondering if I tried to sell my blog as well as the latest info. Then it happened.

I just saw my blog listed as part of the Friday Freebies. I thought my blog could at least be listed as a deal, but I didn't know anything about life on that site. I think she could have created a photo of the site, and put it up as part of those stamps for sale. Or she could have suggested that my blogger community rap video be played on Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B Stop and/or GGAA Records. But Dhemz is my Filipina Blogger friend, and I don't want to take chances on lowering any women's self esteem. A woman remembers that. Trust me. Just remember to post some free pynk candy for some of your visitors.

But jeez, it's my writing space in my world, and I was beginning to feel less amiable about it all. Not that I don't mind stepping into Krislea's World or Denani's World, but it wasn't one of those moments to remember.

As I looked around more, I saw that the journey of my life wasn't as clear as before. It was an unsolved mystery as to the exact future whereabouts of my own blog. I guess I just have to live, love, laugh at all that.

At least I began reading a father and daughter sharing their views on the sports world which lightened my mood that night. The sports soapbox helped ease my mind, too. It really makes me appreciate the small and simple things in my life.

My Thoughts from an inner mind told me to just let it all go, and get back to this great site people told me about that is good at helping you win your fantasy football, baseball, basketball, and hockey leagues. It would really be a simple happy life to win any one of those leagues.

A journey for life isn't always what it seems especially when flying low on an airplane going back home. I looked beyond photography and finally found my piece of paradise in the blogosphere. I'm still waiting on that Forgetful Princess calendar though, but will respectfully keep my unrevealed thoughts to myself. It makes me scream MABUHAY!
