Two years ago, I posted a rap/poem on Associated Content called The Mind of a Troll. Being that a few of my good blogger friends have been attacked recently, I'm posting a newly revised version of it. Well, I had thoughts of posting a sensible topic about commenting, but I added more lines to the original posting for this. So for all you members that have been victims of this and to you trolls, this is for you. This is thinking from a troll's mind.
I like to start fights by being the first to attack,
Then do it again when planning another article hijack,
I have power to abuse as I proudly thump my chest,
Anonymous bashing is smart as I've become obsessed,
I don't want others to know that I have an email,
I hate blogs that are fresh cuz my comments are stale,
I have a mind of my own, and I know I make sense,
I love the attention that I get building suspense,
I post irrelevant garbage because I don't care,
I'm in love with myself, and enjoy that love affair,
I feel all grown up when posting this way,
It's really me, not just an image I portray,
It's my right to do this according to many constitutions,
Though I will never make any real writing contributions,
My opinion is always right, and you are always wrong,
This is just my way of feeling like I belong,
Anything you write I won't be able to understand,
Besides, my opinion is the only one in high demand,
If you disagree with me, I will post an insult,
Remember, I'm no child, but a pretending adult,
I can bash you on your blog or in your chatbox,
I'm contagious and worse than swine flu or chicken pox,
I love starting fights cuz I'm a cyber giant,
My comments have better game than Kobe Bryant,
I'm above everyone, and the master of my domain,
I only like myself, do I have to explain?
It's no wonder that I don't have a single friend,
But I would much rather post replies to offend,
There is no better way to live than like a troll,
I just love playing in this lead theatrical role,
I'm only here to make sure your blog dream shatters,
Without me bashing you, nothing else matters!
So in the end, posting senseless replies is what I need,
I'm ready for another article so please continue to feed!

I hope those bashful people will find happiness in their hearts. If they do not appreciate things in life, better yet to zipped their judging minds. But, since they really wanted to amused themselves by saying ill-comments to others, let them be. "Karma" is on its way to those who hate.
Have a good night my friend. I told you yesterday, you should not pose like James Dean... that is what you get my friend. Some people are envious about it. :-D

A true work of art Dave. Why people attack blogers for sharing their opinions or feel that their way is the only way for things to be done is beyond me. Great work brother, way to defend your friends with words.
Amy, I agree with what you're saying. Although I do strongly advocate on freedom of speech, those that bash other bloggers can choose to not read blogs or posts they don't like, too.
This just proves no matter how kind or good you are, we all have haters. I personally don't care what they say to me, but some are more sensitive to those comments than I am. One of my best female friends from Sporting News quit because of things like this happening to her.

I did play the devil's advocate, but only to establish how they think compared to others.
As I said to Amy, I'm more disturbed when my friends are attacked because I can handle myself well against them. Women and children getting attacked like this is low for anyone to do behind a computer screen. No one deserves it, and I'm quick to defend them(you being included) if they get it.

Rad, I agree.
Disagreements are a part of life, and we both have disagreed on topics before. I don't expect everyone to agree or like what I'm posting, but I do believe in being civil when debating any issues especially when visiting another's blog. It says much about an individual when they resort to insults and bashing because someone else has a different opinion or they dislike them for unknown reasons.
