Five Facts About Me Tag Take 2

Originally, I was tagged by Amy for this tag in March which you can find here. But I'll post another one because a person can find five more facts to talk about.

My good blogger friends Jane and Yen tagged me recently for this, so I'm doing it again. Thanks Jane and Yen for the thought of tagging me!

Here are the rules:

1. Post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 5 facts about yourself.
3. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their name as well as links to their blogs.
4. Link the person who tagged you.
5. Leave a comment for each blogger.

1. The only time I've been outside the U.S. was when I was 5-6 years old. That was when my dad was stationed and lived in Agana, Guam via the Air Force.

2. My brother, sister, and I were born in three different states which came as a result of both my parents serving in the Air Force at different times. I was born in Maryland, my brother in Mississippi, and my sister in Oklahoma.

3. I've been fortunate to be very healthy and mostly free of sickness for the majority of my life. In fact, I never missed a day of high school, and haven't had any symptoms of the flu in 20 years going back to middle school.

4. Just before I turned 12 years old, I got lost in the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia. This happened after my brother and cousin wanted to stay on the mountain top while I headed back. I didn't know my way around because it was my first time in that area, and it caused a panic amongst my family when my brother and cousin made it back before I did. I ended up being over two miles away from my aunt's place where we were staying.

5. I started my own blog after I seen what a real-life friend of mine that goes by the ID of Sabre Blade did successfully on his own sites. After starting on Sporting News in 2005, I created this blog under the named Fantasy Sports Depot nearly a year ago. After getting bored with just talking about sports all the time, and not keeping up with other blogs, I created my own single domain called Basic Bloganomics. If you don't know but want to, you can click the About tab link on top to find out how and why I came up with that name.

I'm going to pass this to EVERYONE of my friends that wants to grab this tag. Even if you've done it before, you can re-post another one if you want. Thanks for viewing!

hey D, thanks for sharing and letting us know about you...glad to know some facts about you my friend.

Oh is it? Wow, both parents served in the Military...have you ever thought of joining the troops? hehehe....hubby was stationed in Guam as well...I think when he was in the Navy back then...now he's in the UAF Reserves.

Thanks for sharing again D....oh btw, sorry about the suspicion of "Hitten Run" hahhaha...my apology...that story is controversial...cool script though.

You have a very interesting blog. I like the 5 things about you, it is terrible to be lost in the mountains, that is where I am from, southern Appalachian Mountains. I am new to blogging so I do not know if I should be added to your roll.

Hello D.. so glad to know more about you.. Wow your parents served in the military.. so you must be a well discipline person then. Of what I heard normally, if one of your parent is in military.. the kids grow up as well mannered and with respect with elders..

Another wow factor.. you havent gotten sick even after 20 years from high school... you are one lucky gal over there then. Keep it up D..

BTW, you have the same name with my hubby :)

I am glad to know more about you David. Good for you, you were healthy before and until now. Gosh, lost in the mountain?? no way. I am scared with the snakes. :'(

Dhemz, thanks for sharing about your hubby. I have thought about it, but I never did join the military.

I had a good laugh about the suspicion of Hitten Run that you suggested which gave me thoughts of putting you on an upcoming True Blogger Story. I think you had to know a response of some kind was coming from me about it!

Thanks for the comment dear friend!;):)

Kim, thanks for the comment. Yeah, it is even worse to be lost as a little boy than as an adult.

Of course you can be added to my Blog Roll, but I don't have your link.

Thanks for commenting!:)

Umma, I am fairly disciplined, but I was far from that living in Guam. In fact, my dad often called me and my brother Guam's Destruction Crew because of our ways. But over time, discipline took over for us.

Yeah, I do get colds, but that's everyone. I did have one syndrome 6 years ago that put me in the hospital because of certain pain relievers I took. Other than that, no serious issues with health at all.

I'm glad to know I have the same name as your hubby. Thanks for the kind words and comment my dear friend!;):)

Katherine, I'm not fond of snakes at all, but I didn't encounter that problem when I was lost. There were several wells which thankfully I avoided, too.

Thanks for commenting my dear friend!;):)
