Bloggers Give

OK, this is a site I came across yesterday when I was surfing the internet. After researching the site, I believe they have a great sense of direction as well as vision for bloggers to help with charitable causes. Trisha Haas, the owner of Bloggers Give, has helped with charitable causes before and decided to create this for bloggers as a way to help out.

For those who know me, I'm not married nor do I have any children. However, I have known some kids that have had diseases, illnesses, or some other restriction that prevents them from living normal lives. Bloggers Give is there to help out with that.

If you already work with charitable causes or employers, then you can see about asking them to donate to this by having the item sent directly to Bloggers Give. Once the item is received, then your site will be added to their Blog Roll as well as the company who donated the item, too. You'll also have the chance to win Blogger of the Month honors if you have the most items sent in the previous month. They'll also put a 125x125 banner on their sidebar, and put you into a year-end drawing where you'll be eligible to win a $100 certificate to the place of your choice.

All items will be sent out at the end of each quarter. Also, there's a donation form on their site that you can submit to them so they can easily track it as well as credit you properly for it.

This is for anyone that wants to help out disadvantaged children, and I know many of my blogger friends have kids, too. So I know you would understand this much better than I would, and help spread awareness of this site and cause.

So for more information about this, click the banner link for Bloggers Give that is right next to my cbox and above my Ecard. In the middle of their homepage is where you can grab the banner link like I have on here. You can contact them directly for any other questions you may have, too. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference as a blogger, so check out the site if you're interested in helping.

Note: I sent an email to Trisha to see if they work with any international charities because I have quite a few them that read this blog. I'll let you know when I get a reply back.

Thank you so much for writing about Bloggers Give, it truly is a wonderful thing that Trisha has created and I am grateful to be able to help her.
I handle the Bloggers Give email so I am forwarding your email to Trisha since the question you asked really needs to be addressed by her.

I am a participating Bloggers Give blogger and I can't tell you generous people can be. Trisha Haas is an innovative thinker and this program is right on target with the growing trend of blogging and businesses turning to those bloggers to promote their products.

Thank you for the well-written post!

Thank you so much for posting about this! I am friends with Trisha Haas, and I think it's an amazing program! Most of the sponsors I work with have been more than willing to donate one extra item. I can't wait to see the faces of the families at the camp when they receive everything!

Lester- Thanks.

Kim- Yes, what Trisha is doing is so wonderful. I had no idea you handled the email, so you should get credit for helping out with this organization, too. So thank you for that and the comment.

Finleypotamus- Thank you for the kind words and comment.

Amanda- And thank you for taking the time to come here and comment.

Trisha- The thanks goes to you because this isn't possible for anyone to post about if not for the wonderful organization you started. Thanks again.

Karen- I totally agree with you about Trisha being an innovative thinker. I've always had an appreciation for anyone that is proactive for such a good cause. Thanks for the kind words and comment.

Trish- Yes, it is an amazing program that I think will forever change the internet and blogging communities. That's certainly good to know about the generous sponsors. Thanks for the comment.

This is a great set of info to pass on to your readers. I think Blogger's Give will one day be a leading charitable organization.
