Weekly Blog Props

I'm gonna take a look back at some blog sites that I know as well as some that may not be familar to you. I'll provide brief commentary about that site as well as certain articles they posted this week that I recommend you see if you haven't. I'm posting these in no particular order.

FBKid's Sports Minute: This is a blog I came across on YB and also thru another friend of mine's site, too. This guy brings a an objective and very thoughtful approach to the game of football. He's recently posted positional rankings for the upcoming fantasy football season that I recommend all of you to checkout. His blog is well-written.

Football news from a chick: This girl has easily become one of my best cyber-friends in the last month that I met on YB, but she also works for ESPN doing research and publishing for them, too. In this blog, she posts the latest NFL news going around. She's also quite possibly the best blogger I've ever seen in replying back to comments on her blog as well as others across the internet, too. You can certainly tell this gorgeous blogger loves writing, and just be sure to check back to her blog because I guarantee she will reply back to your comments if you choose to leave any. That goes for your blogs, too.

Lester's Legends: Lester just recently posted his weekly tidbits that you should read and you've also seen me prop his fantasy baseball players of the day, too. He also posted a solid argument on a great football debate this week. This guy updates his blog quite frequently, and you should checkout the posts I'm recommending on there.

MoonDogSports: The Chick Pic of the Day posts are more than enough for guys out there to check his site. His latest post covers the sexy Katherine Heigl. Also this week, Moondog covered news on the UCLA football team as his Tennessee Vols team will play them in the season opener in college football. This is blog is very up-to-date, and covers a wide range of enjoyable and interesting topics for most anyone.

The Sports Muffin: The guys here definitely got their Muffin on this week with an entry everyone should read regarding the Summer Olympics in Beijing. Sean did a parody of the NCAA basketball tournament that featured matchups of events that are taking place at the games this year. They recently posted the results of the opening round of that tournament which was determined by the voters who read the blog. It was a very funny and creative take on the Olympics. They have posted some very creative and funny stuff, so you need to check this site out if you haven't done so already!

Fantasy Football Goat: This site has done a nice job recently of breaking down the NFL offensive lines this week with the latest one featuring the AFC West. They did a great job of breaking down the offensive lines as well as assuring the importance of how those units effect skill position players in fantasy football. Those articles are very useful for all fantasy football players.

Reel To Field: This week, fragnoli took a break from sports to post about the life and death of George Carlin. He also posted about various sports news this week as well as other things i an entry earlier this week. Like Moondog, fragnoli covers a wide range of topics and is one of the most creative people I know on the internet. That site should be required reading for everyone.

Mo's Marketplace: This was another week where Mo focused outside of sports in his entries. His latest article discusses ICANN's approval of top-level domains. Earlier in the week, he posted about communication in the workplace as well as popular phrase, too. If you want a break from sports to read news of a different variety, give Mo's site a look.

The Karmic Boomerang: For those of you who are on Sporting News, this is the blog run by Oregon Tailgater. This week, he wrote a very nice article about his son and his wife's recent birthday. He also continues to post his 'Getting To Know the 50 States" on there as well as his SN blog. He also posted his pick for the greatest moment in sports as a result of a member running a contest on SN. This is another site that goes well beyond the sporting world.

Nachos Grande: This is fanofreds' blog site for those of you who know him on SN. This is a site any baseball fan would love. He recently did a photo blog of Yankee Stadium after his trip to see them play the Cincinnati Reds, his favorite team. He also posts his weekly MLB rankings as well as reviews of baseball card sets that he's very familar with. This is a must-see site for baseball fans as well as those that are in the hobby of baseball card collecting, too.

Tribe Time Report: This is blog by npcPronk of SN. As you can tell by the title, this blog is all about the Cleveland Indians. If you're a fan of Cleveland or know someone who is, I recommend you see this blog and let others know about. He posts everyday about his favorite team.

That's what I have this week for blog props. If there's any blogs you recommend, you can suggest them in your comments and I'll post them in a blog entry.
